KeyPoint Partners Negotiates Funcity (FunZ) Lease at Southwest Commons, Worcester, MA

BURLINGTON, MA (today)— KeyPoint Partners, LLC (KPP) has negotiated a lease with Funcity at Southwest Commons, a retail center in Worcester, Massachusetts. KPP Vice President of Leasing Don Mace negotiated the lease

Funcity, operator of premium indoor trampoline entertainment parks under the names Funcity, FunZ, and Aero Trampoline, plans to open a 35,000 square foot facility at the property in the spring of 2019. Southwest Commons is a 98,703 square foot center located at the intersection of Southwest Cutoff (Route 20) and Sunderland Road in Worcester, MA. In conjunction with new tenancy, a major renovation is planned for the center. Construction will begin soon to renovate the façade and pylon along with upgrades to the parking and landscaping. Plans also call for the addition of a new free-standing pad building.

“Funcity is rapidly expanding throughout the Northeast quadrant. We’re looking to have 18 locations secured by the end of 2019,” Mace says. “Our client will consider acquisition or leasing vacant boxes of 30,000 square feet or larger. We have several other transactions pending throughout New England, but expansion is underway in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Ohio. All submitted sites will be considered.”
