The CAM Specialist works in tandem with the Property Management department to manage common area maintenance (CAM) billing and issues related to assigned portfolios. This includes analytical capabilities and ability to read and interpret legal documents.   

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Prepares and collects year-end Common Area Maintenance (CAM) Invoices /documents for client billing, audit and review. Calculates invoices and reviews CAM, O&M, percentage rents, and CPI increases. Analyzes and reviews CAM invoices and related documents; including Property Management variance reports, in compliance with management agreement(s). Ability to read and interpret legal document such as leases; reviews tenant maintenance forms; tracks changes in leasing contracts; analyzes, prepares and revises tenant charge backs and other fees. Prepares CAM schedules and tracks invoices to ensure timely payment and appropriate rebilling to properties or entities.   

 

The individual should have a BS in Accounting and one - two years of related work experience desired.  Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills required. Must be computer literate and have excellent accounting and spreadsheet skills and understand the business environment.
