KeyPoint Partners Negotiated Site at Mall at Greece Ridge

BURLINGTON, MA (today) — KeyPoint Partners’ (KPP) expanding cinema client Apple Cinemas opened a premier location at Mall at Greece Ridge in Rochester, New York, its second in the state. Vice President of Leasing Don Mace negotiated the deal on behalf the nationally expanding cinema chain.

This state-of-the-art cinema offers an unparalleled movie-going experience, featuring the region’s first ScreenX with immersive 270-degree panoramic view, the cutting-edge ACX format with 4K Laser projection, and Dolby Atmos Immersive Sound for a truly cinematic spectacle. The beautifully designed lobby features a full-service bar, where guests can enjoy craft cocktails, beer, and wine before or after their movie.

“Apple Cinemas brings high quality family entertainment to this market, enhancing the movie-going experience for area residents as it expands across the U.S.,” Mace says. Apple Cinemas is seeking sites throughout the U.S. to develop new cinemas or rebrand existing ones, with a goal of opening 100 cinemas during the next decade.

“Apple Cinemas is on a path to becoming a top-tier cinema operator. We’re assessing every opportunity to grow the brand,” Mace says. “Apple Cinemas prefers sites in the 30,000 - 65,000 square-foot range with suitable ceiling heights, with an eye towards converting existing cinemas.”

Since 2010, Apple Cinemas has provided premium entertainment experiences at exceptional value, and currently operates 11 multi-screen family film and entertainment venues. A site at Pittsford Plaza kick-started Apple Cinema’s expansion into New York. Apple also has a cinema in the works in Danville, CA.
